DECLARATION ON ACCESSIBILITY

As a company that offers customized photo products, we, myphotobook GmbH, are continuously improving the accessibility of our digital systems and services for our diverse customer base, including people with disabilities.

myphotobook GmbH offers photo books, photo calendars, wall pictures, photo gifts, greeting cards and photo prints. Customers can design and order their photo products online using an editor. The aim is to capture photo memories in a high-quality and creative way. The products are produced in high quality and delivered directly to the customer's home.

In accordance with EU Directive 2019/882, the respective national implementation laws, as well as EN 301 549 and WCAG version 2.1, we design our digital offerings to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust in order to ensure equal access for all customers.

1. Measures to ensure accessibility

1.1 Perceptibility

To facilitate perception, content and elements are prepared in such a way that they can be understood by all users:

  • Text and media: Texts are real text markup and not presented as images, images/graphics have meaningful alternative texts, videos offer subtitles or transcripts.

1.2 Ease of use

For better usability, all functions can be accessed in different ways:

  • Keyboard and navigation: full control via keyboard; visible fo-cus indicators show the current selection.
  • Assistive technologies: Compatibility with common screen readers and other assistive technologies.

1.3 Comprehensibility

To promote comprehensibility, content is clearly structured and simply formulated:

  • Structure and language: clear headings, paragraphs and lists as well as comprehensible wording.
  • Error and help texts: Error messages and instructions explain the next step in an understandable way.
  • Additional information: Important information is never conveyed exclusively by color or symbols, but is always supplemented by explanatory text.

1.4 Robustness

To ensure robustness, our digital offerings are implemented in such a way that they function reliably in different environments and with a variety of user agents - including screen readers and other assistive technologies.

  • Technical implementation: Semantically correct HTML and modern web standards.
  • Assistant compatibility: Support for current browsers and screen readers.
  • Scalability: Display can be enlarged by up to 200% without restricting functions.
