No, just like the old download software, the desktop app cannot be used without an internet connection. An internet connection is required to launch the app, to save your projects, as well as for image processing and the ordering process. An internet connection is essential. Your content is automatically synchronised with your customer account. That way, everything is kept safe.

You can now only open your locally saved projects from the old download software within that programme. It is NOT possible to import these local projects into the PRO1 desktop app. Projects that you have designed and saved online can also be found, opened and edited in the PRO1 desktop app. Newly designed projects that you start in the PRO1 desktop app are also available at any time in your online customer account in the shop.

No. You can simply log in using your existing account. All your photos, projects and orders that you have saved in your online account will be retained. They will automatically be available to you in the PRO1 desktop app.

You can already find ALL the products from the categories Photo books, wall art, photo calendars, greeting cards and photo gifts in the PRO1 desktop app. Products in the ‘Photo Prints’ category will be added shortly.

Yes. Simply log in to your account on any compatible device that has the PRO1 desktop app installed. Your photos and projects are automatically synchronised and available to you straight away.

No. The PRO1 desktop app automatically checks for new versions every time it starts up and installs updates in the background. You don’t need to do anything else.
